Hotel content quality failures include more than missing fields. Wrong-property images, duplicates, stale amenities and conflicting sources can damage trust.

## Observable symptom

The wrong hotel image appears, many near-duplicates exist, removed amenities remain visible or suppliers disagree.

## Triage

Verify property mapping, inspect source provenance, detect image duplicates with hashes, measure freshness and inspect amenity-taxonomy mapping.

## Image and amenity quality

Use perceptual/URL hashes, minimum quality rules and source ranking for images. Map raw facility labels into a canonical taxonomy and separate self-declared, verified and inferred attributes.

## Failure modes

Watch for wrong-property content, stale unions, synonym duplicates, never-removed amenities and low-confidence sources overwriting stronger evidence.

## Metrics and prevention

Track coverage, stale/conflict rates, duplicate images, wrong-property incidents and source freshness. Preserve source, observedAt and confidence for every attribute/asset.
