Amadeus iHotelier combines central reservations, direct booking and distribution capabilities within one hospitality suite. Amadeus' official CRS page states that iHotelier centralizes rate, availability and inventory control while supporting multi-channel distribution.

## Ecosystem role

iHotelier is not a single-category product: its primary CRS role is joined by Booking Engine, channel-management and metasearch/distribution capabilities.

## CRS and Booking Engine separation

The CRS manages central commercial state for rates, availability, inventory and reservations. The Booking Engine is the guest-facing direct-booking journey. Integration inside one suite does not make them one bounded context.

## Distribution

Official iHotelier Suite materials expose OTA management, direct API connections and metasearch visibility as separate distribution capabilities.

## Technical modeling

Preserve property/chain identity, ARI state, channel mapping, direct-booking session and reservation references separately.
