SHR's Windsurfer CRS, now referenced within the allora product family, represents the central-reservation layer connecting hotel inventory, direct booking and broader commercial systems.

## Ecosystem role

A CRS owns or coordinates central sellable hotel state across properties and channels. SHR material shows Windsurfer/allora CRS operating alongside CRM and RMS in an integrated hotel-commercial stack.

## Architecture implication

Do not collapse CRS, PMS and channel manager into one source-of-truth concept. A deployment may assign different ownership for inventory, rates, reservations, guest profiles and revenue recommendations.

A complete public self-service Windsurfer CRS API specification was not verified. Integration capability should be treated as partner/onboarding specific.

## Metasearch relevance

CRS/direct-booking state can become the direct hotel offer shown beside OTA offers in metasearch. Freshness, room/rate mapping and landing-page consistency are therefore measurable downstream outcomes.
