Vervotech Mapping provides API-based hotel and room mapping products for normalizing and deduplicating accommodation data from multiple suppliers. Official documentation covers account/API-key onboarding, hotel-mapping synchronization and room-mapping request/response flows.

## Ecosystem role

Vervotech belongs in the data/content layer of travel distribution. It targets downstream OTAs, TMCs, DMCs and B2B booking platforms that need to transform supplier-specific property and room identities into canonical groups.

## Hotel mapping

Official hotel-mapping material focuses on different property names, addresses, geocodes and provider IDs arriving from supplier feeds. Vendor-published accuracy and coverage figures should be treated as vendor claims, not as independent benchmark results.

## Room mapping

The Room Mapping API groups room descriptions from multiple providers into standardized room categories for a hotel. This distinction matters because property mapping can be correct while room-level duplication or semantic mismatch remains.

## Synchronization

The Get Mappings API supports retrieval of new and updated mappings by update time. A canonical mapping layer should preserve incremental sync state and source-provider code provenance.

## Turkey context

For Turkish travel platforms aggregating international bedbank or OTA feeds, hotel and room mapping is a prerequisite for comparing prices against the correct underlying accommodation and room entities.
