Which formats does the trivago Hotel Data Validator support?
It supports the CSV and JSON formats documented in the published FastConnect Hotel Data contract.
Which CSV fields are required?
The validator checks partner_reference, name, address, postcode, city, country, accommodation type, category, longitude and latitude. State is treated as required for US properties only.
Are JSON and CSV requirements identical?
No. The validator detects the format and applies format-specific checks; for example accommodation type and star category are treated as required in the CSV contract.
Does this tool approve a trivago onboarding?
No. It provides a pre-check against public FastConnect Hotel Data requirements and does not replace trivago's commercial onboarding, mapping or validation process.
